Figure Kites

Figure kites can take many shapes. Butterflies, birds, bats, bees, fish, dragons and dragonflies are all popular. Representations of people, animals and cartoon figures are also common. They are often made from traditional materials such as paper or silk with a bamboo frame. Modern materials such as fiberglass and nylon are also used.
