You Flew Where?!!?

It seems that one thing that all kite fliers have in common is a desire to fly their kites anywhere and everywhere. Some fly their kites in tricky weather conditions, urban spaces, confined indoor facilities, or where you would least expect it.  Recently we asked our membership on the AKA Facebook pageWhere is the most difficult place you have ever flown a kite?

  6. Atop a Forest Fire Watch Tower in Eureka Springs, flew the fighter kites 200 feet BELOW us.
  7. On the back of a seadoo in the Persian Gulf under a fireworks display.
  8. Inside the Metrodome in Minneapolis using equipment cars as our wind source.
  9. The roof of 50w 34th NYC
  10. Triveni Ghat Rishikesh, Uttarakhand , India.
  11. In a Cave
  12. On a ship going down the Yangtze River in China.
  13. Epcot, Disney World
  14. Smithsonian
  15. Espevar Norway in the middle of their “UFO” landing site
  16. Stairs in a basement hallway of a Chicago Hotel Complex
  17. Top of Edinburgh Castle
  18. Summit of Haleakala
  19. Flying a Large Inflatable through London’s Tower Bridge
  20. Great Wall of China
